**If you are looking for ways to keep your children occupied and learning this summer, St. Anne is offering Summer Bridge Activity Workbooks. Each book contains Phonics (lower grades), Reading Comprehension & Writing, Math, Social Studies, Science, Fitness and Character Development. A note was sent home this week with an order form. The deadline to order the workbooks is Monday, May 21st. The cost of each workbook is $15.00. Cash and check will be accepted. Please make checks payable to St. Anne School. Please know that our school will receive $5.00 for each book sold. Our hope is to use our profit to help build our Teacher Literacy Library. We appreciate your support and are confident that St. Anne School will benefit from this wonderful educational opportunity!! If you have any questions, please do not hesistate to ask.
**Wednesday, May 23rd at 6:00P.M. is Michigan Night.
**May Book-It! was sent home. The Reading Log & seven (7) chapter book list are both due on Friday, June 1st. There is no Reading project for May. If you have any questions regarding Book-It, please do not hesitate to ask. I am more than happy to help!!

**Please make sure your child has an assignment book to write down daily assignments. I know it was not on the supply list but it is very important your child has one to keep track of classwork and homework. I provided a link below that has a kid friendly daily planner and St. Anne actually used them last year. If you need help or have any questions, please let me know.

This week we learned:
Math: We started the Chapter on Fractions.
English: We started the Unit on Adverbs.
Reading: We finished the story The Malachite Palace. We will begin a new story next week.
Social Studies: We started Chapter 9.
Science: We are continuing to learn about Matter.
Religion: We started Chapter 8 Thy Kingdom Come next week.
Spelling: There will not be a test on Unit 33 next week.
